Are you going to Shetpton Mallet? and MAWT Challenge Card

Good morning to you all, can you believe its Monday again already, where did the rest of the Easter Weekend go? Have got up early so i could make the most the day! and thought i would get a couple of posts sorted before everyone gets up this morning.

I love the Moving Along With the Times Challenge, and this week the lovely Heidi has provided a fabulous sketch to work with with the extra stipulation of using brown and pink (so not a problem, as its one of my favourite colour combinations), and to add ribbon (who doesn't love ribbon????) - it was purely heaven to work with!

I have used one of the fabulous Sweet Pea images, and stuck to a fairly clean looking card, hope you like it.
Loving this Sweet Pea beauty and had great pleasure colouring her in shades of pink, did i say before it was my favourite colour?????

The Cherish sentiment is a rub on from Stampin-Up as is the flourish in the corner mat. Ribbon and flat backed pearls from stash. Flowers punched with the whale of a punch retro flower and the smaller flowe using a marianne flower punch.

Have stickled and glossy accented her wings, stars, flowers in her hair and the candle for extra dimension

Are you going to Shepton Mallet between April 22nd-25th?

I have been invited to go along with my friend Anna-Marie (templates with a difference on Create and Craft), and after alot, and i mean ALOT of consideration, and gently pushing from hubby (is he trying to get rid of me for a reason?) I have decided to go. Now, i am looking forward to it. Never been there before, and lots of crafting heaven does have its pull as you can imagine!!!!
Now anyone who visits me regularly will know the last couple of years have been hard, and we are still not out the thick of it, but im hoping we may finally be on the way up. I have never been away from both hubby and the children for more than one night! so 4 nights away in a nice hotel, and in crafting heaven, is still a bit traumatic for me. Do you think ill cope???? You may smile, but seriously I am worried about being homesick, worse still, what if i like it???? might never want to come home ! - no, not likely, but it will be an interesting experience.
I dont think Anna was expecting me to agree to go as she knows what a homebird I am, but at almost 45 years old, I thought it was time I spread my wings!
Anway I seem to be rambling a bit, sooooooo sorry -
Now the reason for my question, is simply, if you are going it would be lovely (albeit a little nerve racking for me!) to have you pop by and say "hi!". Would be great to have a chat too if time allows, but with just Anna and myself on the stall not sure ill be actually able to leave it! I would just love to be able to put a face to the name behind my blogging world!
Are any of you actually working there too??? could maybe meet up afterwards if you are.
Well my lovelies, off now to get a coffee, ive been up an hour and not had a drink! must start the day off right.
Hugs to you all xxxx

Going away-you'll love it! I remember the first time I went away for 4 days without my kids or husband-it felt really weird not having them with me but I really had fun. It sure makes them appreciate all you do when you get back.

Too bad I don't live there as I would love to come see you. Have a fantastic time & don't worry about going away, you're gonna love it!!!
