Still looking for Martha Stewart Punches in stock? An Award from Gina

Its Thursday already and not a single bit of crafting from me. My daughter has been away all week on a school activity trip. I had a call from her teacher yesterday saying she had seen Jasmine and she was having a lovely time. So it would appear my daugher is enjoying her first time away from home and I am the only one missing anyone!!!

This week has been very busy. I seem to have been rushing about more than when i do have the dreaded school runs!! Today is a planned quiet day. A friend popping in for a quick coffee later on, a trip to the PYO strawberry farm with coffee shop! and an afternoon of crafting!!!!! - finally.

MARTHA STEWART BORDER PUNCHES

Is anyone still searching for the wonderful Martha Stewart Border Punches? i have been over to the Cuddly Buddly website and they have most of them in stock including the wonderful Doily and scalloped embossing border punch. Go take a look now before they go. Whilst your there take a look at their fabulous selection of rubber stamps, they are adorable!

An Award - thank you Gina

About PIF:

The whole thing started with the movie "Pay it forward". The role model of Haley Joel Osment, gives a great deed to another person. The only attach to the one who receives it, is that he/her has to promise to give something that matters to others. A simple demand, that may not be as simple that it sounds? Someone has now taken this principle further, and made it into a gift.

The rules are simple - everyone can join, and only 3 rules have to be fulfilled:

1. You must have your own blog, so that you can spread the message.

2. You must like to make others happy.

3. You must ship your 3 gifts within the next 365 days.

I have been pratically losing sleep on who i should pass this award onto to. There are so many of you who i would want to pass this onto . So after much deliberation i have decided, although i will be naming 3 people for this award, i will infact be sending out additional gifts when my blog candy ends on the 27th June to a few extra special friends who have entered the candy. So ladies if you receive on of these special gifts labelled PIF and you wish to play along that would be great, if you chose not to thats fine too. You have the instructions of what you should do here on this post.
Ok this award is going to
1. Fiona, who is expecting her baby any day now, lots of wishes coming your way Fiona.
2. Joey who has just recently found out she is expecting her third baby.
3. Maria who has recently had an operation on her eyes and has been struggling to keep
on top of her DT duties recently due to limited eyesight.
I will get your gifts in the post sometime this week ladies.

Hugs Linda x

Best Birthday Ever - Thank you

I just had to make a special post to thank all my lovely friends for making my birthday so special this year. As many of you know i don't really enjoy my birthday generally, i prefer everyone elses, but this year was something special. I am completely overwhelmed (to the point of tears!!) at all the lovely cards i received and also gifts. I have been totally blown away with your kindness. Each and every one will be kept in a special keepsake box for me to look back on over the years, thank you from the very bottom of my heart. I have tried to email everyone personally, having said that some more cards arrived today, and i have not had time to email you yet, but i promise i will.

What a talented lot of friends i have, ive enjoyed studying each and every wonderful card i am blessed to have such thoughtful friends.

And more xxxxxxx

and yet more gorgeous cards!

So once again, you really do not know what this meant to me, it truly was the best birthday ever thanks to you all. It is a birthday i will never forget, you all made me feel for once in my life "special" if only for one day. {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}} to you all xxxxxx
Jasmine left for her school trip this morning, because im sentimental at the best of times i decided it was best for me to say my goodbyes at home and to let David take her. I am sure she will have a fabulous time and not give us a second thought.
I am already missing her, its very quiet here!!
As you all know my baby is settling in well, here he is with my baby girl.

and again with my baby boy!

Now how gorgeous does he look here, asleep. Little tinker thinks the settee is his!

and i didn't have the heart to move him.

Just enough room for me and Bear together at least until he is fully grown!

Will be back tomorrow with a card for the Creative Crew Challenge, i hope you will join us this week!
Good evening and god bless, Linda x

MY ROCKY BEAR AND NEW SPACE !
As many of you will know we recently had an addition to our family, a 7 month old Rottie called Rocky Bear!! well, Rocky Bear is settling in well infact it feels like he's alway been here. I never knew how much joy a dog could bring you, but truly they do, and i can not imagine life without him. Despite him constantly taking rubbish from my bin and spreading it all over the floor!!!!
You can see that my baby loves to lay with me when im crafting, there is not much space down by my desk but just enough for him to lay!

Fast asleep, bless him!

Because of Rocky Bears arrival, and the fact that we have to contain him to the conservatory (for allergy reasons!) we thought it would be sensible to put a sofa in the conservatory so we can sit with him in the evening. As you know my crafting space is in the conservatory. Well there was no way we could fit a settee in as things were, so i had to re-arrange my crafting stash, and condense it (shows just how much i love Bear!). After hours of huffing and puffing i finally managed to fit everything in a much smaller space! admittedly it looks a bit untidy but it is working for me, things are closer to hand and i don't have to get up from my chair much!

This is a view from the top end of the conservatory, as you can see just enough space for the settee.

It's amazing how much you can fit into a space when you have to!

This is the settee, that i brought from ebay for the bargain price of £60. I can not tell you how thrilled we were when we went to collect it. It had been recovered last month! at a cost of £1699.00 for the complete suite. Unfortunately the suite got separated, but we coudn't have fitted in 2 more chairs anyway!

So now we get to spend the evenings sitting with Rocky Bear, either watching TV or in my case crafting!
Hope you are all having a good week, and i am looking forward to catching up with you all during the week, sorry for my less frequent visits, but my puppy is taking up so much of my time at the moment.
Thats it for now, remember i will be adding more blog candy during the week, will post photos as i do so!
Hugs for now Linda x

Fathers Day Cards and Warm Weekend

Good morning and what a lovely morning it is. Indeed the sun is shining and its warming up as we speak! I can not believe its sunday already and i havn't made a single card yet this week. These fathers day cards are what i made last weekend, the last of the order. I am desperately wanting to make up my DT cards for this week, but with moving about my craft stash and the usual household duties, ive not had time. I am hoping to catch up today.

I trust you are all having a wonderful weekend, and that the weather is kind wherever you are.

I have alot of things to sort today, i need to recharge my camera batteries so that i can share photos of my re-arranged crafting space, and hopefully a photo and details of my blog candy, that i will be running to celebrate my blogaversary in 2 weeks and my actual birthday next weekend.

In the meantime, the fathers day cards!

I found the Elzybels images an absolute dream to work with, and quick and fast to colour, always a bonus, with such limited crafting time.
This adorable image perfect for the fisherman in your life.

I already had this Pollycraft image coloured and thought i would use it to make this fathers day card, im loving these papers.

Im off to my mums for sunday lunch today, so at least i don't have to cook. It is the Aldham Garden Day today, so we might have a nosey round some of the neighbours gardens later this afternoon. I am too ashamed to open ours, its in real need of some TLC, we have promised ourselves that we will work on that next spring!
Have a wonderful day, hugs for now, back later, Linda x

My time to Craft Challenge week 35 - Beckys sketch and Friday Sketchers

Its Wednesday already where has the week gone? i hope your all having better weather than us, its been fairly miserable all week. Which reflects the mood of my lovely Rocky Bear. He doesn't like walking in the rain, bless him, so he is sleeping more than normal!! I am definitely coming back as a dog in my next life!!!!

Have made two cards this morning, the first time i've had to craft this week. I have down a couple of sketch challenges, so that i didn't have to think too hard!!! always an easy option with my limited mojo at the moment!!

Now its almost my blogaversary and birthday, so i am going to post some blog candy to celebrate this weekend. I am struggling as what to offer, there is so many gorgeous candy's up for grabs just now, what is going to tempt you all???!!! I seriously need to put my thinking cap on.

FRIDAY SKETCHERS

What a great sketch this week, another fabulous sketch to work too, and i have used my penny black image, that has been coloured for weeks. I have been using up some of the free papers that i have collected, and thought this one was perfect!

Have use the Martha Steward embossed border punch and highlighted with stickles and liquid pearls. The daffodil has been glossy accented.

This week is a fantastic sketch by my lovely friend Becky, it was a dream to work with. I have used one of the lovely Rachelle Miller images, and highlighted the flowers with pearls and stickles glitter.

The image has been coloured with my pro markers. Papers were the remainder of my freebies from a recent magazine. I have to say they were fabulous to work with too.
Im off to stamp up some of my new stamps and to hopefully get my DT work up to date Hope you all have a great day, i apologise for not visiting all your lovely blogs this week, but will catch up at the weekend.
Hugs for now Linda x
