My entry for the Dutch card Challenge

This is my design for this weeks http://www.dutchdare-cardchallenges.blogspot.com . My first entry into any challenge.

Finally got the photos downloaded !

These are my recent cards. I hope you like them. Most of them are Tildas (of course) or Sugar Nellie Stamps, both firm favourites of mine. I apologise for the quality of the pictures, i need to practise with the camera, I hope I will improve as time goes on! Until then please bear with me.

Do you like my blog header? I am really pleased with it, it was done by Siggi designs. Thank you Jo you are truly talented. I love my new header, much appreciated!

There is some lovely blog candy going on htpp://scrapmetalsretreat.blogspot.com check it out.

So Stressful

I am finding this all very stressful. I have taken some more photos of my cards, downloaded them onto the computer (so I thought) but my blog wan't upload them, saying it can not read them or they have not completely downloaded. Worst still the ones I already posted will not reload. Will now have to wait till hubby gets home and see if he can help me. Its so frustrating.

We go on holiday in just under three weeks and im desperately trying to get my craft bag sorted. Have loads of images ready to colour in, and may do some beaded flowers ready for embelishments. We are going to Glasgow for a couple of days and York. Does anyone know of any good craft shops in either or these areas? If so any addresses would be most appreciated.

I was trying to put a visitor counter onto my blog earlier, but wasn't sure exactly how to do it, if anyone can offer any advice I would be really grateful.

Thats it for now, must get my daughter from school, she has been in an athletic competition today, fingers crossed she did okay. Bye.

Too many beautiful stamps

This is a selection of cards using some other adorable stamps. I love the Gruffie bears and the beautiful Penny Black designs. My husband does not understand why i could possibly need to buy anymore lol. I, like so many others of you, can simply not resist. I'm desperate to get started with my Sarah Kay stamps which arrived Friday. Will hopefully make some cards over the next day or so, and will then post them here for you to see.

I do not know if anyone is interested but I have a pile of different peel offs that I no longer use (so many sheets not touched!). If anyone is interested please drop me a line. In exchange perhaps you could send me some stamped images, or whatever else you may feel fair.

This dog card was made using a template from Anna Stemplewska designs. Isn't it cute? I have also done a matching cat which I will post when I can find it! Have a sheep, elephant and tortoise to do when i find time.

T
This flower card was made using the bauble die cut for the revolution. The ballerina is also a revolution die cut as to is the flourish border. I am so much into the flourish look at the moment, I use some kind on almost every card.

What can I say, I adore fairies, this card was made using mamelock scraps. As you might have noticed I use alot of K & Co papers, I adore them too.

Below is a decoupage fairy. I think she is sooooo beautiful. Unfortunately my photo does not really do her justice.

These little toreads are so devilish aren't they? I have a pile to use, trouble is I havn't had time to sit down and cut all the pieces out yet. Decoupage is not one of my favourite techniques but some are too cute to ignore!

Hope you have enjoyed sharing these cards, as much as I enjoy sharing other peoples.

IRIS FOLDING

I was never an iris folding fan until my friend designed these iris folding stamps. These are a few of the cards I have made using them. Over the next week I will be showing many more. One of my favourite designs is the tea cup, I have more photos to take before I can show you. I have to say this is more time consuming than I imagined, but i am also getting so much enjoyment out of it. I still havn't had any comments left, so please say hello if you do pass by.

Some more designs

Have finally managed to work out how to load pictures onto my blog. Mind you it is taking quite a time to download each one. Hope you enjoy looking at some of my amateur designs.

I adore this Hanglar image, he is so cute, can not wait until Funky kits stock these adoring little characters.

Another Obstacle

Hello again, its Saturday evening. I was hoping hubby could show me how to download photos onto the computer. Have taken some of the photos but guess what? thats right, we can't find the computer lead to connect to the camera. Doesn't look like I will be able to post photos of my cards today, just hope we can buy another lead!!
I havn't had a very productive weekend so far. I have my dad staying with me for a week, and today was Jasmines school's summer fete. I was serving refreshments, which suited me as I love homemade cakes! (not that I have time to bake myself these days).
Tomorrow David will be off playing golf so hopefully I can lock myself into my craft room and make some cards. I received the Sarah Kay stamps and can't wait to have a play with them. There are so many beautiful stamps around, and with the Max and Milly stamps from Spiral Whisper to be released next month, im totally spoilt for choice.
I still havn't had any visits to my blog yet, but am hoping that will change very soon. If there is anyone out there dropping in, please drop me a line, would love to hear from you.

Welcome

Hello everyone, I have finally taken the plunge and opened my own blog. I spend so much time surfing other peoples blogs, and decided I wanted to become part of this wonderful new world. Unfortunately for me though, I am not computer literate, I know very little about computers and have had to literally follow each instruction on the blogger link. Still not sure if i have done it right, so will have to wait and see if I get any response from my first post. So with that it mind, if there is anyone out there who has read this, please just drop me a line to let me know. Thank you and hope to see you again soon.
