Dies to Die for Sketch Challenge/Passion for Promarkers First challenge
Passion for Promarkers Challenge Week 1
There is a wonderful new challenge blog this week called "Passion for Promarkers" this week to celebrate their launch they have some fabulous prizes up for grabs.
This new challenge blog has a fabulous DT line up so go take a look at their blogs for inspiration.
I have decided to use my "Peek a Bunny" image from Stampeveie, that im just loving at the moment.
The colours i've chosen to colour my image are :- turquoise, dusty pink, rose pink, ivory, pastel beige and sandstone. I have layered some of these colours on top of each other for example on the ears i used the pastel pink and put the rose pink on top.
Papers are from a HOTP Sarah books, ive had these ages and have finally taken my scissors to them!
The sentiment is my own and the flowers are the whale of a punch retro flower, my all time favourite punch!!
The ribbon bow and the ladybird have been glossy accented. Im afraid im not taking very clear photos again just now, and i don't know why. There is plenty of light, so not sure what the problem is!

Stampavie Challenge No 4 - Peek a boo
Can you believe its Friday again already, another gorgeous weekend on the horizon, followed by the dreaded school run again on Monday!!!!
The sun has been out all day and although its not cold there is a welcoming breeze, for me this is the perfect summer day!! Have had a busy day today but did manage to fit in one challenge card. I love the stampevie images and this weeks challenge was to use light blue, turquoise and brown. Wow, my favourite colour combination.
I decided to keep it fairly clean looking though with lots of added bling. Hope you like it.
To join in this weeks challenge go here. Each week there is a surprise gift to one lucky winner. Someone has to win, so it might very well be you.

Creative Crew Challenge Week 12 - Flowers/Sketch and Stash Challenge week 11
I trust you've all had a good day. Its been raining on and off all day here, but now the sun is breaking through, a bit late in the day i think!!
This morning the children and i took a drive to Mistley to an animal rescue centre. We have decided that the time is right for us to get a dog! we have been toying with the idea for sometime now, but after much discussion, David has agreed that yes, we can have one. We all want a British bulldog, but having looked at the cost, i think this is highly unlikely. I have suggested that we try and rehome a dog. Maybe even a bull-dog. We have found an official rehoming site and are looking into it. You actually have to apply to be considered, which i think is brilliant, after all they've already gone through one upset in their little lives, would be a shame to have to do it again because they had not been re-homed correctly.
So if anyone knows of anyone with all bulldogs please drop me a line.
I finally got round to another challenge, and im now posting my Creative Card Crew Challenge Card for this week.
Absolutely loving the sketch this week, it was a dream to work with and ill definitely be using it again.
Another one of my favourite sugar nellie stamps, coloured again with pro-markers, still trying to get the shading right as you can see!!
Have added gems to the middle of the flowers to add dimension.
Am still practising my decorating of the inside of my cards. Still not quite mastered it, but getting there slowly.
This week the challenge set was flowers, easy you would think? how wrong can you be!! i really struggled this week.
I finally decided on framing my nesties with flowers, which i hope you will like.
This week i coloured my image using the prisma colour pencils blending them with my marvely le plume brush marker blender pen which worked brilliantly!!! much easier to work with than the paper stumps i found.

Sugar Bowl Challenge Wk 11 - Flowers and Happy Birthday
I trust everyone has had an enjoyable bank holiday weekend and Memorial Day (for US readers). Well it looks like the weather has taken a turn for the worse again, it is raining cats and dogs outside!!!!! quite appropriate as later this morning i am off to look at a dog. Will explain that later on.
We celebrated my sons 18th birthday over the weekend, where have the last 18 years gone? i couldn't get a photo of him as he hid everytime i got the camera out!!
At the moment im feeling quite on top of things but im not sure how long that is going to last. I can't believe i have made challenge cards this weekend. Anyway the first is my Sugar bowl Challenge Card.
I have attempted to write the text, hope it doesn't look too awful!
I am loving my Martha Stewart border punch as you can see!
Corners are a Revolution die cut
The inside of my car decorated, as i am loving the idea of the card being special both inside and out.

Good morning my lovelies, this is my card for the JCBC challenge this week, its my first card after a long break, thank you ladies for giving me time to sort out things this end, i appreciate your patience, i am glad to be back on board and hopefully things will rermain calm for a while!
I love this cute sugar nellie image and yellow is definitely a favourite colour of mine at the moment. I have coloured this image using the prisma colours. I have used my Marvey Le Plume blender pen to blend the colours, it works a treat and much easier than the sansador and paper stamps that i have previously tried!
What a great sketch this week by Vanessa, i love it, well done hunny.

This is one of my all time favourite Rachelle Miller stamps, you may have seen my previous card using this cute image! I have coloured this in using my pro makers, and the papers are from Making Memories.
The flower is another retro flower punch and ive tried to create dimension to the toadstalls by glazing them.
Unfortunately it looks like we've come to the end of our lovely weather spell here in colchester. It is a very gloomy overcast day. Nothing much planned except some crafting and hopefully some more blog hopping. Hope the weather is better wherever you are, enjoy the rest of the bank holiday weekend and back tomorrow with another card for the Creative Crew Challenge.

Back from my holiday and a Challenge Card
Sketch Saturday CHALLENGE WEEK 52
Back from my holidays already, i have some photos to show you further down but for now a challenge card. This is for this weeks Saturday Sketchers and what a fabulous sketch it was to work to.
These papers are from Making Memories but im not sure which design. I love this Melinda image and that adorable snail.
Melindas wings have been stickled and the flower she is holding have been glossy accented.
Flowers are made using my retro punch again. Ribbon from Poppicrafts.
This is three quarters of my family. Jamie with his girlfriend Kelly, Happy Birthday Jamie, he is celebrating his 18th birthday today! (we are off out for a meal tonight, so the diet starts tuesday!). Ben and Jasmine. This was taken at the Marine Centre in Palma, a new tourist attraction and well worth a visit, albeit a bit pricy. We certainly felt the weakness of the euro this year!
A shot of hubby pretending he can read this!!!!
Jasmine buried by her siblings when we went to Fermentor, a truly gorgeous little bay!

So back from holiday where did the week go. I have to say we had a marvellous time, and it would appear some of that lovely weather has come back home with us!! i have been sitting out in the garden this morning in between loading and unloading the washing machine and tumble dryer!
I have to say its the second time we've been to Majorca, and i just love that country! there is a slightly relaxing feel to the island, no one rushing about, a much more relaxed feel. I think i could definitely live out there!
Unfortunately our villa wasn't as expected, it was very dark and i love daylight as you know. So luckily for me we had good weather and i could sit outside! I managed to do a bit of colouring, but i have to admit, i generally fell asleep while laying in the shade!
We visited a couple of the tourist attractions in Palma but were actually staying in Pollensa. A lovely little place with lovely restaurants along the front. Which i suspect is why im about half a stone heavier on my return home! I am so on a diet this week, i look at least 3 months pregnant!
We shared our villa porch with this little guy, isn't he just the cutest?
