Quick Cards and Totally Fed Up !

What have you been up to this week? hard to do much at all with all this rain, it rained all day on Monday, had a break yesterday morning and has returned this morning with vengeance! I am sick of it, that along with other things going on in my life just now are leaving me feeling very sorry for myself indeed.

Wont bore you all with details, im sure you are sick of my moaning and groaning, and according to the book ive been reading, you make your own luck in life and positive thinking can change your life. Well that has just made me feel even more of a failure, i cant even change my own good fortune! What kind of failure does that make me???

Moving on, i have decided to sell off more of my crafting stash. I will be lisitng lots of house mouse, crafters companion, penny black, and miscellaneous stamps. Also selling some of my nestabilities, border punches, sizzix and brads, eyelets, etc. Need to motivate myself to sort through things but will at least start listing on Friday if not before, so pop back if your interested.

So firstly a card for a friend, loving the blue and brown combination, and the penny black stamp.

As you know ive been trying to use up some of my older papers, these papers were some papers from papermania. The image is another one of the bargain toppers i brought.

Have glossy accented the letters for extra dimension.

Another topper and those gorgeous gingham papers.

Anyone notice a colour theme going on here? love purple and mauve, these toppers are perfect!

A gorgeous image from the very talented Sally-Ann. I havn't used these nearly as much as i should!!

Well now ive bored you all to tears, off to try and make a card. Have a wonderful day, big hugs Linda x

Hello sweetheart, am soooo sorry I've havent emailed or popped by, been so busy and then I keep forgetting-am so rubbish! I love your cards-especially the pb one-gorgeous colour combo. Am really sorry to hear you're not feeling good, but please don't get down on yourself. I do believe in the kind of sentiment that the book you've been reading has but it's not so easy to change our mindset, takes time. This weather is no help either is it! When Spring comes I think we'll all start feeling better and lighter:) Be kind to yourself my friend xxx

Hi Linda. So sorry you're feeling blue. If it makes you feel any better you really made my day with your beautifulcard! It's soo awesome and thank you a hundred times for the stamp. You really hit right on the spot. This was one of the companies on my wishlist. You can't imagine how happy I got and on a day where I needed cheering up. I actually didn't see the letter until my fiancée came home and pointed out that there was a letter for me hiding on the floor. So thank you again for making my day. I loved your colouring. What did you colour it with? It looks like pastell. I also loved the reversed embossed sentiment. Is it store bought or do you have a special machine for that? Looks wonderful. I've posted your card on my blog.

I'm also interested in getting your stash. I would give them a good home :) I'll check back to see what you have. Hugs

Beautiful cards as always! Those little bear toppers are soooo cute:) I love the gingham too-see,another thing we have in common-LOL:) Don't get rid of too much of your stuff, but if you're going to I would love to take some off your hands-teehee!

You'll have to let us know the name of that book, I'm thinking I should read it too-I haven't had a good attitude about my job since before Thanksgiving so maybe I should read it too?! Or maybe it's just that I want more time to play with my crafts, what do you think?:)

~Big, Big Hugs to you~
