CCC Week 31 - Its a Celebration

Happy Tuesday morning to you all. Can you believe its week 31 already on the Creativve Card Crew Challenge? and this week we want to see you "Celebration" cards. Interpret this however you wish. I decided to go for halloween, as it is fast approaching, and i had some lovely papers downloaded from the Forest Friends kit at the Creative Cottage, that seemed perfectly fitting! along with this lovely halloween stamp sent to me by my lovely friend Shirley. Its the first time ive had chance to use it, but im loving this adorable tilda and will be using her again very soon.

Here are some more of the downloads from the Forest Friends kit, aren't they just adorable. I cut up the main image sheet to make the small tiles on the left hand side that i glossy accented.
Also glossy accents on the tree baubles.

As you all know i have not been feeling too well lately, due to a headcold and also a lot of personal problems that have come to test us. Because of this my crafting time has been reduced as has my blogging time. I want to thank everyone who has emailed me or left comments, they mean so very much, i love you all!
Crafting is a great release for me, and i have made a couple of quick cards over the last week again, some using some images again that my daughter Jasmine has coloured for me. Hope you like them.

I just adore these happy hopper images, i would love my children to pull me about in one of these!

I am a huge fan of the delightful hanglar images, just wish i was able to get my hands on more of these beauties. A very special friend sent me this image, you know who you are, thank you.

You probably can all tell how much i am loving the adorable Lili of the Valley die cut images, perfect for those quickie cards!
Well i hope to be back later with some more cards, hope you have a great afternoon. Its my daughters birthday today, she is 11 years old. Where did the last 11 years go????? my baby is no longer a baby, i am very proud of her, she is a very thoughtful, beautiful young lady. Happy birthday Princess!
Hugs to you all Linda x

I've got a Cold and Some Quick cards

Good morning ladies, its sunday again, another week comes to an end. Where is the time going? i can not keep up with it just now. This morning i have woken up with another headcold. My head feels like someone has been playing football with it! Thankfully we are at my mums for dinner, so i don't have to cook. Whats that saying? "feed a cold, starve a fever!"???

Well i have still not been very crafty, but made up these cards using some images that my daughter Jasmine has been colouring. I have to say its great when she does some colouring for me, as she uses colours that i wouldn't chose myself. I have been very pleased as it means ive used up papers i wouldn't have otherwise used! thank you darling. Also used one of the ready coloured die cuts from Lili of the Valley, they are just fabulous for quick makes.

I hope you are all having an enjoyable weekend. I apologise for not having visited all your blogs, i plan on catching up this week.
Hugs for now Linda x

Challenge 28 at the Creative Card Crew Challenge

Its wednesday, and im late posting my card for this weeks Creative Card Crew Challenge week 28!!! So sorry, its been manic here and im still not feeling my normal self. (My husband would probably say i've never been normal, but thats open to debate!).

Well this week you have the chance of winning this gorgeous whiff of joy stamp. We are being sponsored by Whiff Of Joy, and they have been one of my favourite stamp companies since they launched last year! i love all their designs but especially their Elisabeth Bell images.

This weeks challenge is to decorate the inside of your card. I don't do this as a matter of course as i am lazy!! but i have to say when i do take the extra time, i think the end result is much more professional.
As i have been tight on time, ive again used one of those lovely Lili of the Valley die cut images. perfect for a quick card!

I have embossed the hearts using my cuttlebug embossing folders and the hearts are from my nesties. My inside is a bit plain, but the Mojo has gone walkabouts again! Infact it didn't come back from the last walk yet, its obviously got lost, because ive got no sense of direction!!

Please go over to the Creative Card Crew Challenge Blog to see the other cards by the talented Design team members.
Well, things this end are still hectic, and im still not feeling my normal self. The virus i had last week has left me feeling very tired, then i had that lady time of the month, which completely zapped what little energy i had left. On Saturday i celebrated my 22nd wedding anniversary, my hubby brought me these gorgeous flowers. I have to say its taken 22 years to get these!! he has never been the romantic type, but maybe all that nagging has finally paid off. My husbands excuse is he thinks the flowers look better in the garden, what i have to remind him is we don't have any red roses or lilies in our garden!

Hopefully will be back later with a few cards, if i can find my MOJO. Have a good week, hugs Linda x

Please go take a look for yourself and pick up a freebie digi download kit, which includes a beautiful selection of papers and images. You can make the most gorgeous cards and all for free!!!

Clallenge 27 at the Creative Card Crew Challenge

Its Tuesday already, the week is flying again. Its a recipe this week at the Creative Card Crew Challenge.

Recipe Of
2 Paper's , 3 Flowers , 2 Brads , 1 Button
& 1 Ribbon.

I used one of the Lili of the Valley Die cuts that i have found absolutely perfect for quick christmas cards. I have stickled the snow and fur. Papers are i believe K & Co.

I really need to apologise as i am so behind with my blog hopping. I am having a rough time just now, and struggling to find any mojo or motivation to craft. Hopefully the cloud will lift soon. Hope everyone else is well. The weather has gone downhill, its raining and miserable outside, certainly doesn't help lift my mood. Hopefully the sun will return in a few days.

Will try and catch up with my blog hopping in a day or too. Have a good week, hugs Linda x

Week 26 at the Creative Crew Challenge - Have a Fairy Nice Day

Its Tuesday again and another week for the Creative Crew Challenge, this week set by me. I would like you to have a "Fairy Nice Day" interpret this however you wish. I have used an image sent to me by my friend Michelle, i believe its a TAC image. I love this fairy (angel). I have used papers from Making Memories called Boho Chic - Olivia. I am loving this paper stack at the moment along with others from the Making Memories range.

I hope you are all having a good week, i suspect most of your children are back at school now. It is certainly quiet in this house with Ben having no one to argue with! I have been busily stamping up some of my new stamps and have intentions of doing a batch of Forever Friends christmas cards this week. I can hardly believe we only have 3 months till Christmas, where has 2009 gone?
I hope you all have a good evening, i am intending to catch up with my blog hopping tomorrow, sorry if i havn't got round to visiting you yet.
Hugs Linda x

The ever talented Erin, has some gorgeous blog candy up for grabs. However there is a twist to this candy. Erin would like you to make a card for 13year old Paige, who was involved in a serious boating accident. To read more about it go here.

I couldn't think of a better reason to make a card, even without the blog candy. I used my lovely Elisabeth Bell image and some of my favourite Making Memories Papers.

I have been struggling with inspiration for the last month or so, but i thoroughly enjoyed making this card for Paige, i hope she will like it, and it will help brighten her day. Sending both Paige and her family big hugs xxxxxx

So if you want to do something for someone deserving, go and make a card for Paige. You can either send your card directly to Paige or to Erin. Details availabe on Erins blog.
Hope you are having a lovely weekend and ill be back hopefully tomorrow with another card.
