Week 50 at the Creative Card Crew Challenge - a Sketch

Good morning ladies, hope you are having a wonderful week so far. Firstly thank you for all the good wishes left about my hubby. We went to the doctors this morning and he has an inner ear condition, can't not recall the name but starts with "L" and is a little similar to vertigo, unfortunately it could take some time to clear up, apparently up to 3 weeks. He has some medication to help with the dizziness, which hasn't as yet taken effect. So I am chauffeur to him at the moment, and have even less time for crafting, which quite honestly has taken a back seat ever since I got back from Shepton Mallet. Thank goodness I got ahead with alot of my DT work before I went away. Hopefully will have at least one day today where I can play catch up.

The sun is shining, but again its very cold. I am out for lunch today with a friend, I had thought I might have to cancel, but to be honest, I am looking forward to a short rest!!

Well lets get on with why im here!

Another week at the Creative Card Crew and this week we have a lovely sketch for you by the lovely talented Emma. This week the fabulous Simon Says Stamps is sponsoring us.

I am using an image from the Creative Cottage, by my lovely talented friend Tracy called Baby Ellie and Family. Isn't she just adorable? this is a digi image of baby Ellie, she is the smallest of 3, which i've coloured (not very well it has to be said) in with my pro-markers, and added stickles. Now i'm not sure why I found a need to add the stickles and 'm not sure it works, maybe I should have used this for a Get Well Card for someone with Chickenpox!

Used the beloved flower punches and of course distressed the background of the image with my distress inks.

The bows have been glossy accented and flat backed pearls and added some googly eyes.

This is the digi kit that i used, there are a gorgeous selection of papers and as you can see from my previous post these are a dream to use!

This is the fabulous sketch and i'm sure you will enjoy using it as much as I do!!

I hope you will join us this week i will look forward to visiting you all! hugs Linda x

I'm sorry to hear hubby is poorly hope fully his labyrinthitis will soon improve. Stephen had it a few years ago and although it took about a month to go completely he was driving within a week with the tablets and feeling much better
