Bluebell Woods and I love Flowers

Happy Friday morning. The sun isn't shining but it's not raining and no sign of the ash from the Icelanic Volcano, so a good day overall!

Unfortunately its been one of those weeks again, and i've barely had time to touch my crafting. I am showing you today a card I made for a friends retirement.

I am just loving the"flying stars" stamp from Penny Black, as you can probably tell, and i have used it again for this retirement card.

Have stickled the stars and also added some liquid pearls to give dimension. A very simple card.

Had fun doing the inside too. Addition of a Martha Stewart border punch and some ribbon to finish. The sentiment printed on my PC.
As you might have also realized i also love these easel cards, just fabulous!

BLUE BELL WOODS
Regular visitors to my blog will know how much i just love this time of year and especially because of all those lovely flowers springing up all over the place. I have no idea what these are, had intended to look it up, but not yet found the time. If anyone can enlighten me i would be very grateful. I am assuming they are either a wild flower or infact weeds, they are found at the edge of the roadside. The first stint of my morning walk!

This is a view of the field i walk round with Rocky Bear, there is a feeling of absolute calmness, and other than the birds tweeting and the trains that run behind the trees its very quiet. A time for me to think (maybe too much at times) and to appreciate the good things in my life. Very important especially as recently I have had so many bad things too!

This is a view of my bluebell woods from a distance, although it looks great from afar, it doesn't hint at the beauty that lies within!!!

This photo is taken from the outside of the woods looking in, I wish i was better with my camera as these photos really do not do justice to this heavenly place!Bear taking the lead, through our beautiful bluebell woods. It is simply amazing to see a sea of blue around you, I am never tired of this gorgeous site!!!!

Just proof of how naturally gorgeous this place is, fallen trees have not been cleared away, but add to the charm of this special place.

This is the tree I usually sit at, this is where I took the previous photos of the blue bell woods, love that tree trunk!

Ben sniffing around, he loves it there as much as I do, although he is often spooked at the odd sounds he hears .
Another sitting place a little further down.

Heading out towards the end of the bluebell woods, still a blaze of beautiful blue flowers!

The path through the woods

Another one of my favourite resting places, I am sitting on the log opposite this one taking this photo!

Well that's it my lovelies, hope you've enjoyed the photos of my special place! I have enjoyed sharing it with you.

I have managed to avoid the school run this morning, as my lovely hubby has taken Jasmine to school. I am still sat here in my nightie, i have to get dressed and walk Rocky Bear, and when i get back I have to get started on some DT work. Hope you all have a wonderful day. Looks like that sun might just come out its getting brighter already. Mind you that wind hasn't dropped at all.

Looking forward to some blog hopping over the weekend, apologies for my lack of blogging lately, but life just keeps getting in the way!

Hugs Linda x
