Mothers Day Makes/Red nose Day

Its bright and sunny and the weekend is upon us once more! I hope you've all had a productive week. I see some of you have already been to the NEC and had some very important retail therapy. I am jealous of each and every one of you. I am having to console myself with some internet shopping!

So this week i've been making a couple of Mothers day cards. The one below is the card im sending my mum this year. I love this sugar nellie image and havn't used it nearly half as much as i should.

There is a slight difference to this card in the way it stands up. Not sure you will get the full effect from this photos but have tried with my limited photography skills!!

I have used papers from the beautiful Basic Grey range. I love the quality of basic grey, and have been stroking my new porcelain/marrakech papers this morning!! (i know sad, but true!)

The flourish is a sizzix bigz die and the border is the arch by Martha Stewart. Both some of my favourites just now.

The frames are from the new Go Kreate die cuts. This one is the Pointy Frame. I have to say these cut beautifully and are available here.

Another flourish from the Sissiz Bigz. highlighted with papermanias rhinestone brads.

This is the card i made for my MIL. I love these papers but have no idea who makes them. If anyone is able to help me here i would be really grateful.
Loving these new stamps by Daisy and Dandelion too. This image was coloured in for me by my son Jamie. He and his girlfriend have really got into the colouring in. so i have handed them a pile of images to start colouring.

The sentiment was printed on my printer . I am trying to make more use of my computer!

So its Friday 13th and Red Nose Day at school. Jasmine is running a charity event. They are having a PJ day and this afternoon selling cakes, cards and sweets to raise extra money. So with the images Jamie and co had coloured, i made up some quick cards to sell.

This one is using one of the Hello Kitty die cuts that my lovely new friend Denise sent me. Thank you hunny.

Thanks to Denise, i have brought several hello kitty dies from ebay in the us. They arrived yesterday but i havn't had chance to play yet. Maybe after the weekend since im helping out at the shop Saturday.

I made this card using one of the gorgeous Elzybels images. I love these bears and they are a delight to colour. I did actually colour this one myself!

I coloured this one myself too, and isn't this mouse just the cutest!!!

This card was made for the mingle over on the yahoo forum that im lucky enough to be part of. Jamie coloured this image for me, not a bad job i think! This die cut is from the US, stampin up range. Sent to me by my wonderful friend .

Another quickie using Jamies coloured image, those gorgeous papers again!

Finally a card using the gorgeous DCWV pets stack and another image coloured this time by Jasmine.

So there you have it. Thats me for today. I am off to have a bath now, then hopefully ill have chance to make a card before going to school . Hope you all have a great day, anyone off to the NEC over the weekend, have a great time, and try to control your spending! hugs for now Linda x

Sorry about not being around much to blog hop. Work has kept us busy with the end of the school term and working my part time job almost full time!

Hugs to you!
