Especially for You

Its another bright day and another week has passed me by. March is already in full swing, can you believe it, Easter will be upon us before we know it. Things seem to have settled down here for the time being, and for that im very grateful. So why havn't i got round to more crafting? i have no idea! do any more of you have weeks like this? i seem to have achieved very little this week, craft or otherwise!

I had this weekend planned out, crafting, crafting, and maybe a little more crafting. However, my hubby has other ideas. We have decided to take the children to a wildlife sanctuary in Benfleet, Essex. We had tried finding it once before but failed, we had left the address at home ! anyway today we will try again and i shall have the address firmly in my hand before we leave.

With lunch at my mums tomorrow, thats the weekend almost sorted. Not quite sure when ill fit in that crafting i'd planned!

I have a couple of gorjuss girl cards to post, but will do that tomorrow. In the meantime these are the cards i made this week.

I love the Pollycraft images as you know and this is one of my favourites.

Pink is my all time favourite colour and pink/green combination amongst my favourites. The image has been coloured using my pro-markers.
Papers are from the smirk range and also DCWV. I have used the McGill punch for the leaves and the flowers are of course mulberry flowers. The wings have been glittered and there are some glossy accent highlights to the hearts and flowers, but thats not clear on this photo. As you know im the worlds worst photographer!
Secondly i made this card using one of Sally-Anns fabulous grab-a-doodle designs. I adore Sally-Anns work she is a very talented lady.
Have to admit im not overly sure of this layout. Do you have days when you move things around, and around, and still can't make your mind up? well this is one of those days!

So if this card looks a bit dis-jointed, you know why. I have used the sizzix flourish die cut and the flower is the retro flower punch. The corner is the quickutz die, and the sentiment flower is from the SU punch.

Im still sat here in my PJ's im ashamed to say. So i best be making a move. Need to do something to the bird nest on my shouders, before hubby starts moaning.
Hope you all have a great day however you choose to spend it, will come visit your blogs this evening, sorry i have been a bit behind with my blogging!
Hugs for now Linda x

Hello Linda, thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog. Your cards are lovely - the little birds are gorgeous - and I think we have a lot in common! I can spend hours moving bits around, trying to decide on a layout & I never seem to get as much card making done in a week as I intend at the start! :) Hope you're having a great weekend.
