B-Day X-mas card challenge week 22/Pollycraft Cards

Monday morning again, the sun is out but don't be fooled, its cold out there!!! having done the school run this morning, i am not looking for my jumpers!! This morning im taking Ben bowling and we are meeting up with another child who is home educated. Personally i would rather stay indoors, but needs must.

So another week and another challenge. This weeks sketch is mine, so i hope you enjoy working with it. This is my card. This is one of the gorgeous pink petticoat downloads. The papers are again from the smirk range. Its a bit bright, brighter than i would normally do, but i coloured the image in whilst in bed, and the light in the bedroom is obviously rubbish!! as is my camera and the quality of my pictures. I am always so disappointed with my pictures, i don't know what else i can do to get a better shot. Any suggestions will be greatly received.

We have a fabulous prize up for grabs this week, two of the wonderful Whiff of Joy stamps, im sure this will attract alot of interest this week. Come on ladies we will love to look at your wonderful creations.

Thank you to the other design team members who have made beautiful cards using my sketch. I love them all!

Another couple of Pollycraft cards, using my favourite image. This time a couple of thank you cards. I am trying to get a few quick cards made for Jasmines fund raising on Friday for Red Nose Day. I have promised to donate some cards. As per usual i have left it to the last minute.

So ladies, i hope you enjoyed your weekend. I had a day out at a rescue centre and then onto the Barleylands Centre at Billericay. There were two craft shops there both with loads of gorgeous goodies to tempt. But i had hubby with me, so had to be quite good, i only ended up buying a new fiskars border punch called apron lace, will be using it on a card later today if i find time.

I also brought a rubber stamp and a sizzix die of a clover leaf. I hope you are all impressed at my self control!!

We are going back maybe this weekend, im not sure the self control will be as controlled!!

Well i have to get on and get ready for todays trip. Speak to you all later i hope. Hugs for now Linda x

Oh Linda i love these card especially frilly millie! Its beautiful i love the brightness of it. I usually place my card under a lamp light makig sure i dont cast a shadow when i take my snap - i find it help and also if you place white card under and around the card it helps reflect the light.
Hope ben has a great time today - you meeting with Jai?
love tasha xx

Hi Linda, stunning cards - I just love them all. My favourite has to be the second one - but that's mainly because I just love pink and green together.

great sketch Linda - I'll have a go a bit later on. and a gorgeous card you made. I never take pictures with the flash as I find it fades the colours, I just find a sunny spot or take a picture under my daylight bulb. I'm no expert and although I'm using DH's Canon digi camera it's always set to auto! hugs, annie x
