Well another week has passed, firstly i have some apologies to make. I have had to re-assess things here at home. I have had to put my blogging on the back boiler for a while. I love my blogging but with my naturally addictive nature, it was ruling my whole life. After much deliberation, i have deciding that i will schedule all my posts for the week at the weekend, i will also catch up with my blog hopping and comments at the weekend too. This means i can spend more time doing things here at home, including more cooking and dare i say it, cleaning!!! I hate those domestic duties, but needs must!! all of these things have been neglected over the last few months, and although no-one here has complained im feeling guilty about it.
I promise that i will visit you all weekly and try to leave comments too. I always enjoy visiting your lovely blogs and seeing what you've been creating.
As many of you know i have had problems here at home on a personal front, and although for the time being things have settled down, i need to concentrate on getting my family back on the right tracks and i shall be dedicating all my spare time in doing this. Family has always been the most important thing in my life and i love my children and husband to pieces, but i have i know let my crafting get in the way. I need to rectify that.
This morning Jasmine has her school Easter Egg hunt at school, its pouring of rain! how typical. I assume the teddies will be taking refuge indoors instead of outside on the field!
I'm hoping to make my DT cards this morning and then schedule them for the rest of the week, i hope you all have some wonderful things planned for the weekend.
On Wednesday my lovely friend Donna, celebrated her 40th Birthday. This is the card that i made for her special day. Im loving the Leanne Ellis images and the pink and brown combo is one of my favourite colour combinations. Hope you liked in Donna, happy birthday hunny, you are a special person and i hope you were treated like one!!!
Mothers Day seems ages ago already, but here is a photo of what my lovely children brought me. I have to say i was taken back this year, as my children really did spoil me. I am usually totally disappointed, as i have spoken about previously. But not this year, i think maybe it has something to do with the fact that Jasmine is getting older and knows exactly what i like instead of relying on Dads choice!! and also that the boys now have girlfriends!!! i think maybe the present buying was delegated. Im not complaining though, and thursday i received my new whiff of joy stamps that my middle son Jamie brought me. Can't wait to have a play with them. My hubby cooked a delicious beef wellington lunch for us all and my mum joined us for lunch. So it was a lovely enjoyable day. Thank you to my hubby and lovely children.

HI Linda, we understand that sometimes other things come first before crafting as much as we would like to spend all our time on it. You sound as though you have a wonderful family, and if you are not careful, like mine they will be all grown up and flown, so be patient your time will come, and by the way I think your friend will be delighted with her card, its absolutely beautiful. love and hugs Shirleyxx

Gorgeous card Hun. Love the pretty colour combination. I agree with you on the blogging and have had to do similiar myself. With having Rylee all week i was trying to fit blogging in everyday else i felt bad, but it was getting to be a chore because of the pressure i was putting on myself. So now i use my time at the weekend when i dont have him to concentrate on my blog buddies! mwah Jillix
Gorgeouss Card!!!
Ohhh you got spoiled!! But those gloves :( hahahahahahaha
I just wanted to thank you for always leaving me such sweet messages on my blog. i wish i could find more time doing it. But making cards always win from bloghopping ;) hahahaa it also wins from cleaning :)
hugsss Ria
Hi Linda. Glad to hear that you were thoroughly spoiled on Mother's day. You deserve it! Gorgeous card that you've made for your friend's special birthday, she'll love it. I know what you mean about the blogging, it does take over your life and before you know it you've spent many hours in front of a computer! I spend more hours blogging than I actually do crafting which is daft. Anyway, I'll look forward to catching up with all of your news at the weekend. Enjoy the rest of this one! Hugs, Lainy xxx
Hi Linda - thanks for your lovely comments on my blog.
I am new to blogging but can already see how it could take over if you are not careful.
I bet we can all recognise ourselves in your post in one form or another.
I no longer have children at home to run around after and yet I can see the time (and chores!!!) blogging is taking out of my normal routine - so for you to juggle a family and home with all the many demands they bring alongside the crafting/blogging must be near impossible.
I love your blog and the cards you create give great inspiration - I shall still look forward to your posts (it doesn't matter whether they are scheduled or not - they are great to look at anytime).
Take care and I hope everything settles down well for you and your family who clearly mean the world to you.
Love Jules xx
Hi Linda,
This is a gorgeous card, I love the colours.
I agree with all you say about blogging - it can be so time consuming. You've made the right decision and I'm relieved that you're not leaving us completely.
I wish you and your family lots of love and happiness.

Super lovely card Linda. Sorry it has been forever since I visited. Loving all your beautiful creations. Glad you had a great day last weekend. Had so much fun yesterday at Harrogate and got some lovely goodies
-x-
Hey Linda,
Your blog comments are always so sweet and nice to see!!!
I totally get the addictive time consuming nature of the blog world and respect you for your decision!!!
Family should come first and I too hate those domestic duties but need to get them back under control so I have been trying to do more of that and less commenting ect...
I enjoyed your Mothers Day gifts pictures and your Birthday card you shared too!!!
Heather
Gorgeous card, the colours and image are fabulous
Stunning card Linda, I love the colours and layout. x
I agree with you, blogging does take up a lot of time and I tend to just upload my makes at the weekend and mainly visit blogs then too so I quite understand where you are coming from. Family must come first and things do change and we have to reassess as the need arrises
Love the card you made for your friend I bet she loved it too
Beautiful card! Totally understand the family thing. Family is the most important!! It's funny how your time can get sucked into the internet. It seems like I'll just be 15 minutes on it and 2 hours later I'm still at it. I try and blog hop as much as possible which unfortunately means that I sometimes don't leave comments but just look. Hope things get better...
Michelle
I love your Gorgeous card!! and it looks like you had a Wonderful Mother's Day!!..... a little less blogging won't do any harm...Take Care!!...Hugs, Ila
your card for your friend is so beautiful! I understand exactly where you are coming from Linda, I had to step back last year for a few months while I caught up! I am feeling like things are slipping again, so difficult to keep up with everything isn't it?
hugs Debx
Gorgeous card...stunning colours.
So lovely to see you were sopilt on mothers day, you deserve it hunny.
Emma x
This is gorgeous!! Love everything about it!! That image is so pretty and the colors you combined look fabulous!!
I hope everything turns out for the best on the homefront!! Good for you.....
:Kathy
I'm very much feeling what you are Linda....different reasons, but I havent and cant blog as much as I used to....I think we beat ourselves up more than it bothers those we dont visit. I think bloggers are aware that we all care, appeciate and love to see what everyone else does...and when we can, we stop and say hello.....and when we cant, we just cant....so there....no more apologising Linda....you are well and truly not alone!
Now, this is a fabulously beautiful and stunning card...I adore it...! xx
gorgeous card for your friend.
family does come first but remember to make me time for yourself too,
kayx
WOWZER Linds talk about knock your socks off - its amazing!

I can't tell you how much your card and present meant to me, your a very special friend and are always there for me even when you have so much going on in your own life, big hugs to you hun, Donna x
