Friday and a few more cards

Well ladies almost the weekend again, where did this week go. Im off out this morning to the Bowling centre. The children love it, and im happy to drink their coffee!! The weather has been lousy and has meant we can't go to the beach as previously arranged. Hope you are all having better weather than us in the SE!

Didn't do these cards this week, but a while back, found them in one of my photo folders, so am showing you them now. Hope you like them.

I adore these cute Hanglar images, and this stamp was sent to me for my birthday from my lovely friend Karin. I just adore it, and it went perfectly with this basket from Magnolia.

I cut out the basket and put onto 3d pads for extra dimension. Loving these papers too but no idea what make they are sorry!

I am loving this new Elisabeth Bell image, it was one of my favourites from the SACD release this month! This is such a bad photo, please double click on the image to see it more clearly!

Loving this cute tilda image, its one of my favourite all time favourites and the papers i believe are the fabulous SU papers!

I really should be thinking about packing, we are off to Norwich for 4 days on Monday, i can't wait, really feel in need of a break, and hopefully i might manage to shake off this head cold. I am going to pack a small bag of crafting items to take with me, incase i get a few hours to relax, might be an opportunity for me to get some colouring done.
Will schedule my CCC challenge card for Tuesday and maybe another post for Thursday if i get time.
Back tomorrow with some more cards i hope!!
Hugs for now Linda x

Cany you believe its Wednesday morning already, and the weather is not any better than at the beginning of the week, its been raining this morning and no sign of Mr Sunshine!!

I have actually managed to make some more cards, although not all these were made this week.

Firstly another card using one of Chelseas gorgeous stamps. To see more of these go take a look at this weeks Creative Crew Challenge, where you can also be in with a chance of winning one of Chelseas stamps ! The papers ive used here were free papers from one of my craft magazines months ago! i knew they would eventually come in useful!

Last week on the CCC challenge we were sponsored by the very talented Digital Designs Louby Loo! I so enjoyed using these images, especially this cute little guy!!

Papers were sent via a RAK and im not sure what they are, can anyone tell me? as i absolutely love this paisley design!

Another beautiful image this time skunck with flowers, how cute?!

Using my old faithful stickles and also some K & Co papers which are amongst my all time favourites.

Creative Card Crew Challenge 20 - Polka Dots

Its raining cats and dogs here, its overcast, and generally its a fairly miserable depressing day. I hope you are all fairing better than us! How are the school holidays going? its early days but im still enjoying the more relaxed morning, and of course no school run!!

We were planning on a trip into town this morning to buy new trainers for both Ben and Jasmine, and lunch in town too, just hoping the rain stops a little later.

Its week 20 at the Creative Crew Challenge and this week we have a £10 gift certificate up for grabs for the wonderful Digital Delights downloads by Louby Loo.

I absolutely adore these downloads, they were a total delight to work with. I have already posted two cards previously using these downloads here and here.

I used this fabulous image with some K & Co papers and a simple sentiment. Lovely to colour in and have been coloured using my pro-markers.

Dew drops for the centre of the flowers and jewellery accessory for the flower on the ribbon.

We hope you will join in with this weeks challenge, i know time is an issue in the school holidays, im struggling to find the time to craft too, but it would be good to see your creations if you can!
Enjoy your day, hugs for now Linda x

A Quick Card/Whiff of Joy Autumn Kit and Blog Candy

Can you believe its the weekend again? and the children have now finished school , oh yes, no more school runs for six weeks, heaven!!!! I hope you are all having a good weekend. We have had a barbeque today with two of Jasmines friends and my nephew. The day is almost over and i havn't managed to do any crafting yet!! hopefully that will be remedied over the next hour or so.

I made this card yesterday using a digi download. Isn't this bear just adorable??? I have coloured her using my pro markers.

As you can see ive gone slightly overboard on using the fabulous Martha Stewart Punches, both of my favourites on one card!!!

The sentiment and hearts have been glossy accented, another one of my favourite products at the moment.

Ribbons are from stash, and i have no idea where the papers are from, sorry!
I don't know about you but im struggling with my conscience at the moment. There are so many gorgeous stamps being released and i am finding it hard to justify buying yet more of these beauties, when i already have a pile of stamps sitting on my desk uninked!!! please tell me im not the only shameful crafter in this dilema!!
This leads me on to the fact that the lovely Whiff of Joy have their Fall kits up for pre-order!

To celebrate the pre-order of the Whiff of Joy Fall Kit, the lovely Katharina has 2 sets of this kit to be won in her blog candy. You have till the 26th July to enter. Go over to Katharina's blog and see for yourself.
Well my lovelies, i hope you have a wonderful weekend, with plenty of crafting. Looking forward to visiting your blogs in the week.
Big hugs Linda x

EMAIL TROUBLES and an Award

Its already wednesday afternoon and ive no idea where this week is going. Firstly I am having trouble with my emails. For some reason internet explorer has stopped working for me, and ive not received any emails from anyone since about 9.30am this morning, so please bear with me. I'm hoping my husband can sort something out for me when he gets home from work. How frustrating, im also having trouble with blogger loading pages!!!! all my followers keep disappearing and i have been erased from following some blogs! why is this happening? does anyone know?

Its been a week of deep thinking for me. As some of you will be aware i had considered doing a course in flower arranging, its something that has always interested me, but lack of confidence and generally lack of motivation has prevented me from doing anything about it. Until last week when a friend mentioned she had signed up and was i interested! It was the push i needed, i have spent the weekend making my mind up but Monday morning i did indeed enrol and pay my course fees, so at the end of September i will indeed be starting a floristry course. Lets hope i can do it!!

In the meantime, im struggling with my mojo still, but did get round to making up this card using one of my all time favourite penny black images! I adore this cute hedgehog. I have no idea what papers they are as i received them in a RAK and the sentiment was printed on my PC.

I stickled the nestabilitie matts and using diamantes to highlight. Coloured with my pro-markers with the flower on the hat glossy accented.

I have spent most of today stamping up images to send out for RAKs, my arms ache and my hands are black - completely covered in versafine!!! Its been raining on and off all day today, i did manage to walk Rocky Bear in between the downpours, but not sure if he'll get his evening walk!

AN AWARD

Thank you to the wonderful Kath for passing this award onto me, i really appreciate it hunny. Thank you for thinking of me, im touched!

Well my loves have a wonderful evening and i look forward to catching up with you all again tomorrow. Hugs Linda x

CCC Week 20 - Create a Scene

Good morning, its Tuesday again and another week at the Creative Card Crew Challenge. We are all thrilled at the response we get every week to the challenges. This weeks challenge has been set by Nicola and is titled "Create a Scene". For inspiration go over to the Creative Card Crew Challenge Blog to see the DT members cards. Im sure you will find something to inspire you there.

I'm afraid that i am struggling at the moment to do any crafting or blogging. I actually had to cheat this week and use one of the lovely Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit background papers! this was probably the quickest card ive ever made!!! I can honestly say i had it finished within 15 minutes, not bad going huh? wish i could make all my cards that quickly. I am still missing my MOJO so if anyone finds it please send it back to me!!!

We have been sponsored this week by the lovely Nikki, from Bunny Zoe's Crafts. Go over to Nikki's shop to see what lovely crafting items she has for sale.

Wouldn't you love to win this Bildmalarna Tossa Strawberry stamp? and also a bag of assorted charms? if the answer is yes, hop on over to the challenge blog and join in with this weeks challenge.

Last week i didn't manage to make a single card, im doing slightly better this week, although not a lot better. I made 2 cards, using some digi downloads. I love this adorable fairly for Victoria Stamps. the papers are a combination of K & CO and co-ordinations cardstock.

I have used my retro flower punches to make these flowers and highlighted them with stickles.

Her fairy wings are also stickled. Isn't she just adorable?

Another quick card using one of the fantastic digital downloads, that we will be highlighting next week on the Creative Card Crew Challenge. There are a selection of wonderful images available, here is a sneaky peak of one of them.

Just a simple card!

I hope you are all being more creative than me. I am sorry i have not been visiting your blogs as much as i had been. I hope to catch up with things soon. With the six weeks summer holidays looming, im sure crafting time will be cut even more. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your week, big hugs Linda x

Creative Crew Challenge Week 18 - Ribbons

Its Tuesday morning and the week is flying by yet again. I have my daughter off school with suspected Chicken Pox she has 3 or 4 spots, but no more seem to have surfaced since yesterday. I suspect it could just be a rash, but the school were worried as there have been a few cases already. Im not complaining as you all know i hate the school run, and at this time of year they are not doing much work as they are winding down for the summer break.

I hope you are all weathering the heat! i must admit ive welcomed the cooler weather with open arms, the heat was definitely taking its toll on me.

Unfortunately i have lost my MOJO and havn't been able to motivate myself to do any crafting. I hope this changes soon, as i have just received my new Mary Hall stamps and should really ink them up.

Its already week 15 at the Creative Crew Challenge. I hope you will join us this week in the challenge set by our lovely Paula, this week we want you to use ribbons. Thats not a problem for me, as i adore ribbons!!! However i cheated this week, i have used a ready made topper and added some ribbon detail, hope you like it!

As many of you know ive not been feeling very creative lately, my MOJO has gone walkabouts and im feeling very lethargic. I made this card the week before last for a challenge, but never got round to posting it. This is an old Milo decoupage image that i had made up just waiting for mounting and was perfect to send out with a recent RAK. I am loving these little dogs aren't they cute?

My lovely friend Fiona, gave birth to a baby girl named Isla last week and this is the card that i made for her. This is an old Stamps Happen image, i am adoring these fairies. Infact if anyone has any more of this fabulous images please can they contact me, i would love to buy some images from you.

Lilac and pink are amongst my favourite colours, and they look so delicate on this image, with stickled wings as you would expect from me!

I hope that my inspiration and MOJO returns soon, and hopefully ill be back later with another card, you never know!! have a good day and much love Linda x
